This is my favourite tips: Every two days, soak your nails in a small bowl filled with olive oil for 15 minutes. It hydrates, strengthens and helps your nails to grow so well! I usually do this while watching a show or listening to music.
2. Apply Castor Oil Every Evening
Castor oil is rich in nutrients that support nail growth. I gently massage it into my nails and cuticles every night before bed. It strengthens them, reduces breakage, and makes your cuticles so much healthier over time.
3. Avoid Fake Nails
As tempting as they are, fake nails can really damage your natural nails. They weaken the nail bed and make it harder for your real nails to grow. If you want long nails, it's best to let them breathe and grow naturally. By taking good care of your nails, you can make them look like fake ones naturally!
4. Trim Off Breakage (Don't Let It Spread!)
If you see a little crack or break, trim it right away. I know it feels like you're cutting down your progress, but it actually prevents more breakage in the long run. Keeping your nails neat and shaped helps them grow stronger and evenly.
5. Be Gentle with Your Nails
This is probably the most important one!
Don't bite them (I know it's hard sometimes, but it's worth it)
Don't use them as tools (like opening cans or scratching off stickers)
Try to avoid harsh nail polishes or removers that dry out your nails (especially ones with acetone)
6. The Right Diet
Taking care of your nails from the inside is also super important. Start including foods like nuts, seeds, salmon, eggs, avocado, and leafy greens in your diet, and make sure to stay hydrated by drinking enough water. 🥑🥬
