How I Got Clear Skin: My Journey to Healthy, Glowing Skin

A while back, I had these annoying bumps, and no matter what I did, they just wouldn’t go away. I also struggled with some pimples that popped up here and there, and I felt like nothing was working. I tried all kinds of skincare products, hoping something would finally clear my skin, but honestly, nothing really made a difference.
That’s when I realized: maybe my skincare routine wasn’t the only thing I needed to focus on. I decided to take a different approach and started changing what I was putting into my body.
🍊Diet Makes a Difference 🍊
One of the first things I changed was my diet. I reduced my sugar intake (I still enjoy it, but in much smaller amounts now). I also cut back on junk food and started making more fresh meals at home. Trust me, the difference in my skin was pretty noticeable!
I began eating a lot more fruits and veggies daily: foods like apples, dragon fruit, berries, leafy greens, mangoes and so much more. I also drink fresh homemade orange juice every morning and eat kimchi regularly, which has many benefits for your gut and skin health.Â
And THE drink that made a super big difference in my skin: okra water! I simply chop some okra pods, put them into a glass of water and let it sit in the fridge for 8 hours. I drink it daily and wow, my skin became SO glowy and clear, you need to try it!

As much as I love trying new skincare products, I found that sometimes less is more. For me, a simple routine worked wonders. I don’t follow a 10-step skincare routine anymore. Instead, I stick to the basics, and it’s been so effective!
In the evening, I use a gentle cleanser to wash my face and follow up with a super hydrating moisturizer. That’s it!
