Glass Skin Tips ✨
Glass skin: glowing and smooth skin. It has become the ultimate skincare goal. But achieving this glow isn’t just about piling on skincare products. It’s a mix of gentle skincare, the right nutrition, hydration, and lifestyle choices.
If you’re ready to transform your skin, here’s everything you need to do to achieve that healthy, dewy glow!
1. Double Cleansing for a Smooth, Blackhead-Free Face 🫧
If your skin isn’t properly cleansed, dirt, oil, sunscreen and makeup build up, leading to blackheads and clogged pores.
Why Double Cleansing?
A single cleanse isn’t enough to remove sunscreen, excess oil, and impurities. This is where double cleansing comes in! It helps:
Melt away sunscreen & makeup without stripping your skin
Unclog pores and reduce blackheads
Prevent breakouts by removing dirt and bacteria
How to Double Cleanse
Step 1: Start with an oil-based cleanser: massage it into dry skin for ~1min to dissolve oil and dirt, then rinse
Step 2: Follow up with a water-based cleanser: this removes any leftover residue and deeply cleanses your pores

2. DIY Face Masks
Face masks give your skin an extra boost of hydration and brightness. These two DIY masks will help you to achieve glass skin!
Rice Mask (Brightening & Smoothing)
How to make it:
1 tbsp rice flour
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp milk
How to use: Mix into a paste, apply evenly, and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Use this mask 1-2 times a week
Turmeric Mask (Glow-Boosting & Anti-Inflammatory)
How to make it:
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp honey
How to use: Apply to your face for 10–15 minutes, then rinse well with warm water. Best used in the evening since turmeric leaves a slight yellow tint.. but don’t worry! If you cleanse properly with water, it’ll be gone in the morning morning. Use this mask once a week.
3. Using the Right Products for Your Skin Type
Using random skincare products without knowing your skin type can actually do more harm than good. The right products will help your skin stay balanced, clear, and naturally radiant.
4. Nutrition
Best Foods & Drinks for Glass Skin:
Drink homemade orange juice daily - It's packed with Vitamin C, which boosts collagen and brightens skin.
Eat an apple every day - Apples contain antioxidants that help fight dullness and premature aging.
Drink green tea & okra water - These are packed with antioxidants that reduce inflammation and hydrate the skin.
How to Make Okra Water:
Cut 3 okra pods into slices.
Place them in a glass of water and let them sit for 8-10 hours.
Strain and drink for glowing, hydrated skin!
Drink lemon water & herbal teas - These help detox your skin and flush out toxins.
Reduce sugar & junk food - Too much sugar can cause breakouts, dullness, and uneven skin texture
Best teas for glowing skin:
Green Tea
Chamomile Tea
Rooibos Tea
5. ALWAYS wear sunscreen
Sunscreen is one of the most important steps in your glass skin journey. It protects your skin from sun damage, dark spots, hyperpigmentation and premature aging.
